This image represents the poster with the name of possible cities where Annie might visit. She looks straight to the camera and make an effect of the invitation by calling people to visit her concert with her look. At the right corner of the image we can see the name of the tour "from Russia with love". The name of the tour is made by the James Bond film. Annie is wearing Russian tradition coat so she represents her tour.
Above the tour name there is Annie's signature. I added this in order to make people know that Annie controlled the making process. The name of the tour and her signature work as a symbol of the tour and I added this symbol on all posters so people will be able to recognise it.

In the left corner of the image there is a visual effect of the image of St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow. This is a connotation to the James Bond film "from Russia with love" which Annie's world tour represents.
We can see that there is also the logo of the tour and Annie's signature.
There is a composition on this picture because Annie's face balances the logotype of the world tour an the image looks more interesting. Also on the image we can the guitar which represents the musical institution.

This image represents the poster which might be put in London ad the advertisement of the Annie's world tour.
In the left corner there is a logo os the tour with Annie's signature.
The guitar here also represents the musical institution and furthermore, the coat of the guitar connote the name of the tour as this coat is a traditional Russian costume. The guitar on this image looks like a real person and Annie shows us that instrument is very important for her and she want everyone understand this.

This poster is very mystical as it has vignette on it. Annie is looking somewhere, not straight to the camera. This make the feeling that something interesting is going to happened on the concert on her world tour and this makes people want to visit it.

The poster also has logo on it and the information about Annie's website and where people might get the tickets.

The poster promotes the date of the ticket sales. The information is located in the right corner of the poster where target audience might recognise the date. In the left corner there is a concert logo with the name of the tour and Annie's signature similar than on other promotional posters. 

The poster consists information about the Annie's promotional website where people can find information about the world tour. 

The neck of the guitar looks like a leading line. It makes the composition more interesting. Also the image is cropped in order to frame it with the model's back and the guitar.

The image above I wanted to make in historical style with the cathedral on the back ground. But to aware people of which I'm promoting I decided to add the text on my picture with the quote about the music therefore the potential audience would understand what is promoted on this image and I think this meets the fitness of purpose to promote media institution.

I tried to attract audience attention to the guitar on this photo. Therefore I made it colourful while other parts on the photo are in black and white filter. But I left the Cathedral in colour as well to attract customers attention to the image and to show that it's made in historical style  as well. Also the colour of the guitar and of the Cathedral are similar and this should take audience attention. 

This image is made in bright colours to attract people attention and to make it eye-catching. I used mild and warm colours to make the autumn atmosphere on the image. We can also see the quote about the music on the top on the picture to aware customers that I promote musical institution. 

I made this picture attractive because the sky on the image is quite bright so the audience might pay attention to it. The guitar is also is coloured while the model and other background is in black and white style. This helps me to meet the fitness of purpose of promoting musical institution. 

On this picture the guitar is eye-catching because it's coloured in warm coloured while other objects are in cool colours therefore the audience should understand the fitness of purpose and that I'm promoting music. Furthermore, there is a music quote in the end of the image. 

This image I wanted to make in poster style by using special filters therefore this image looks outstanding and the guitar (the symbol of music institution) is quite big and it informs potential audience of what I'm promoting.

The guitar on the foreground is looked big and eye-catching to it helps to meet the fitness of purpose of the picture. 

 This picture is calm and beautiful. It represents the musical institution because of the big piano on the image. The most eye-catching thing here is piano that's why the model doesn't look in the camera and she wears grey clothes.

There is a guitar on the picture which represents musical institution to  meet the fitness of purpose of the photoshoot. The model looks gorgeous withe the red lips.

This image is eye-catching and it's made in a poster style which might be used for the promotional features to advertise the artist.  The picture is funny and positive and this helps to attract the potential market of young people who like to laugh.

My work

I wanted to edit my best images to make them look more interesting and professional. Also the editing helped me to meet the fitness of purpose of my images - to promote the musical institution. 

I edited my images in  Adobe Photoshop CS5 this program allows to use different filters and ways to edit photos in professional way. The screenshots of my work you can see below:

First of all I cropped the image because i wanted to framed the image to keep the right composition. Also I tried to follow the rule of third therefore model's face is not in the middle of the image .

 Later on, I add the image of the St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow to the image and changed its opacity in order to have just a small visual effect of it. The Cathedral works as a connotation of the James Bond film poster "From Russia with love".

 On the next image I decided to add a vignette in order to make the image more mystic and eye-catching to the potential audience.
I rotated it in an image settings in order to meet right position with the original image.

I also changed the size of the vignette as I want it to cover the whole image of Annie.

 After this, I added the text with the names of different cities around the world where the world tour concerts will take place. I chose Arial font style in order the letters to be easy to read. I chose black colour of the letters on a poster to reach the contrast with Annie's t-shirt so the inscriptions look outstanding.

 I added the outer glow to the letter on the poster to make it look bright.

 I also cropped the next image in order to frame it with the Russian coat and Annie to keep the right composition. Annie balances the guitar so the image looks symmetric..

I added the inscriptions with the name of possible concert hall where Annie can have a concert and I worked with the letters and added drop shadow effect and outer glow.

For the text on the images I chose to add a drop shadow in order to make it more convex. Also I corrected outer glow setting and increase the spread to 75% therefore the text shine with the white color and the text looks eye-catching.

I transformed some text on the images by using rotate setting. This allows me to make a visual effect of the signature on the poster.

Again I cropped the image in order to make the image framed by the model and her guitar to keep the composition more interesting for the potential audience. There were enough space for the inscriptions even when I cropped the picture.

I added the inscriptions and I added special effects such as outer glow on the letter in order to make them eye-catching and differentiate the poster from other competitors.

 On the one image I decided to add an effect in order to make it look like a porter. This make the image more attractive and outstanding.

I changed the size of the text on the poster in order for it to match with the image as it is big and eye-catching.

For my first image, I decided to crop it in order to have better framing and simple white background without pink light be the left side of the picture.

I considered about the rule of throned in order to have right and nice looking composition in the picture. The model is standing by the right hand side and look straight in the camera.

Later on, I zoomed the image in because I decided to rid off the spots on Annie's skin because people will look very closely to her image and she has to look perfect in order to attract more people to visit her concert.
I used spot healing brush tool in order to rid off redness.

I looked for possible filters in order to make picture more interesting for the potential audience. I decided to leave the white background on the image that's why many on filter make picture more attractive.
I wanted to make the image in the poster style as it promotes the world tour of popular singer. I found the filter which is called "poster edge" and applied it on the image.

I add some text on the image with the mane of the world tour "from Russia with love".
On the image we can see the symbol of Russia army on the shoulder of the coat therefore we used it as the connotation of the Russian culture and the name of the tour.

 I controlled the size of the text and the font style in a special panel. I wanted the text to look eye-catching and attractive.

The inscription with the "world tour" I made in a red colour in order to have it in a contrast with the model and background. So it looks outstanding and people will be informed about the tour.

I decided to cut this image and put it on another background with the Russian symbol - Saint Basil's Cathedral. It would be a symbol of the tour "from Russia with love" and demonstrate the patriotic nature of the singer. The background should be outstanding for the target audience and differentiate this poster from other.
I used quick magic tool in order to cut the model from the background.

On the another page in photoshop I opened the image of the St. Basil's Cathedral and put the image of the Annie on it.
I put her to the right hand side on the image in order to follow the rule of third and keep the composition attractive.

Later on I crop the image in order to have it smaller and to cut down other part except Cathedral.

After that I again decided to work with models spots on her face in order to make the image clean and more attractive. I used spot healing brush tool and I chose lighten more in order o rid off redness.

I improves the brightness and contrast first of all on my first images. As I'm only a beginner in using adobe photoshop I tried to use as much options as it possible to make my picture looks professional and attractive. I tried to make my image looks more colourful that's why I improved exposure levels and vibrance.

There i s an example of panel of options of what we can do with photo to make it look better. 

Later, in saturation mode I found the option to make the images in sepia filter and I liked this option because I wanted to make my photoshoot in historical atmosphere and this option helps me to make the image looks older.

During the editing of my next picture I used the experience of making black and white photo but some parts I decided to leave in their natural color. 

I did the picture black and white in adjustments and later I took the brush in tools and I coloured the pieces which I wanted to make colourful.

I learned how to add text into the images. First of all I made the picture below brighter and add more contracts with help of the adjustments. Later I add the text from the tools options and I edited the text colour and the text style to make it eye-catching.

Also I decided to add warmer filter to correct the color on the picture to make the autumn atmosphere on the image.

This is the example of tolls which we can find on the left hand side in the adobe photoshop.

This picture I decided to make in black and white colour as well. 

Later I created a new layer where I chose only the sky area for the editing this allowed me to make this area brighter and the sky on my image look very bright and eye catching. Also I coloured the guitar to make it looks outstanding to meet the fitness of purpose of promoting the media institution.

Here are the examples of layers and how I coloured the area of the sky.

I decided to crop me next photo to see the model with the guitar closer and to delete the area  which I didn't like because it looked a bit blur. 

`in the tools I chose the brush to color the area of models feet because it looked dirty and it was eye-catching.

I zoomed it the area which I wanted to edit and coloured the area to make it look darker.

I added the text into this image and I edited it by making unusual text still and I coloured the text in blue colour to make it brighter.

To make my pictures more outstanding I decided to use different filters. As I 'm promoting the music institution I chose the "poster filter" as most go the singers' advertisements.

Also I cropped my image to make my model bigger in the screen.
I edited the filters setting and I made it a bit lower.

I cropped this image because I wanted to make the guitar look bigger on the image so it would be more eye-catching.

I also decided to use special filter on this image because I wanted it to look more unusual and eye-catching.

I edite the colour if the feet of my model to make it look darker on the image. I used special brush and brush setting to do this.

Also I decided to make this image in sepia to make it look more older as I was inspired of photoshoots in historical style. 

I used portrait edge filter to make the picture in the style for the poster to meet the fitness of purpose and to make the image more unusual.

 With the special brush I cleared the image from the spot on the face of the model and from the blue chair on the background to make the image look better and to keep audience attention on the main feature of the photoshoot, piano which represents musical institution.

 Again I used special filter to attract the potential audience.

 With the special brush I cleared the green line on the background to make the picture look mor professional and tidy.

I coloured models lips in the red colour to make the image more effective and attractive. It make the effect of gorgeousness.

 In the filter gallery there is a big range of different filters whittles to make the images more unusual and eye-catching.

Example 

I used Adobe Photoshop CS5 to study how to edit the photo of my future photoshoot. I used a photo of apples as the example. We studied how to make an interesting image with highlighted elements.

First of all I made the photo black and white to highlight only the area that I want to be allocated. Later I choose the appropriate brush and its size from the tools on the left hand side in photoshop window. 

After that I coloured the area which I need.

The detail information how to do this effect in the photoshop program is:

1.Do one of the following:

Click the Black & White icon  (CS5) or  (CS6) in the Adjustments panel.

(CS5) Click a Black & White preset in the Adjustments panel.

Choose Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Black & White. In the New Layer dialog box, type a name for the adjustment layer and then click OK.

Photoshop applies a default grayscale conversion.

Note:

You can also choose Image > Adjustments > Black & White. But keep in mind that this method makes direct adjustments to the image layer and discards image information.

(Optional) In CS6, choose a Black & White preset from the Preset menu in the Properties panel.

2.In the Adjustments panel (CS5) or the Properties panel (CS6), manually adjust the conversion using the color sliders, apply an Auto conversion, or select a previously saved custom mix.

Preset menu

Select a predefined grayscale mix or a previously saved mix. To save a mix, choose Save Black & White Preset from the panel menu.

Auto

Sets a grayscale mix based on the color values of the images, maximizing the distribution of gray values. The Auto mix often produces excellent results, or can be used as the starting point for tweaking gray values using the color sliders.

Color Sliders

Adjust the gray tones of specific colors in an image. Drag a slider left to darken or right to lighten the gray tones of an image’s original color.

To adjust a particular color component, select the On-image adjustment tool  and then click in the image. Drag left or right to modify the color slider for the predominant color at that location, making it darker or brighter in the image.

Click the Reset button  to reset all color sliders to the default grayscale conversion.

Preview

Deselect to view the image in its original color mode.

3.To apply a color tone, select Tint. To fine-tune the tint color, click the color swatch to open the Color Picker.
