Analysis of pictures:
Rule of thirds
If we divide this photo into 9 equal pieces we can see that main characters on the image are located along lines and it follows the rule of thirds. This balance the image and composition looks equal.

Balancing elements
Two main characters balance each other on the picture as they are sitting opposite each other. Baby and dog have different size but composition is still balanced because dog is sitting close to the middle of the image and composition looks equal.

Leading lines
The picture has horizontal leading lines because of the baby's and dog's creases which look quite similar and even symmetric. Lines lead us from the baby's body to the dog's body horizontal.

Symmetry and patterns
The image is looked quite symmetric even if baby and the dog have different size. There bodies are looked quite similar that's visual we can feel symmetric but actually there is no symmetry on this picture.

Viewpoint
On the picture we can see that this was a close up shot from the eye-level of the baby and the dog. We can feel the actual size of both of them and we have the feeling of baby's viewpoint.

Background
The back ground of the image is simple. There is a brown wall behind baby and the dog. This is made to attract all attention of the audience to the main characters of the composition and nothing there distracts from the subjects.

Depth
There is a wall behind baby and the dog on the image therefore this picture is not depth at all. All attention is attend to the characters.

Framing
There is no frame on this picture because we can see that picture is made on a special studio without using any decoration. The main subjects on the picture are baby and the dog and attention is attend to them only.

Cropping
We can see that the picture may be cropped because we can see main characters very close or probably the photographer use close up shot and there is a possibility that she didn't use cropping as a special effect.

Experimentation
The photo is made on a special studio therefore it's possible that the photographer made lots of shots and experiments before making this good shot.

Lighting
Quality of the lighting on the picture is really good as we can feel because the picture was made on a special photo studio. The photographer used High Key lighting because there is no shadows on the main characters of the composition. She made it because she wanted to demonstrate characters fully and show how cute are they.

Fitness for purpose
The photographer of this image is Anne Geddes. She makes present cards with the images of children in different compositions. This is her own business. Also she makes this picture for pleasure of her customers. But this picture is a present card.

Rule of thirds
If we divide this picture we can see that the model is located on one of the line in the right hand side of the composition and her image takes only small piece of the composition. Other two third of the picture is taken by the background (London).

Balancing elements
The main object on the picture is a part of the London Eye and the model who demonstrate Dior look. This takes only one third of the picture but other part is balanced by the background of the image. We can see palace and other skyscrapers on the picture and this visually balances the composition.

Leading lines
Leading lines on the image is horizontal because of the bridges, lines on the London Eye and because of skyline which is also horizontal.

Symmetry and patterns
We can't see real symmetry on the picture because we see different things. On the one side there is a London Eye with the model and on another side there is a London. But we can see some kind of symmetry in London because palace and one skyscraper is symmetric on the left hand side.

Viewpoint
I think that the picture is made from the opposite cabin of the London Eye which is located little bit lower than this which is carrying the model. We can see long shot and low angle at the same time. Long shot demonstrates great part of London and part of the London Eye at the same time. Low angle helps us to see all look of the model and she looks more powerful if the photograph is standing lower.

Background
The background of the image is looked very impressive but at the same time it doesn't distract us from the model because she is standing in London Eye and this is grapes audience attention immediately but later we can see London. Because of the sunset London on the background is not really bright and it doesn't grape our attention more than model who advertises the brand.

Depth
The photo is quite deep. The main character of the composition is located on the front but the background is also attractive. We can even see the skyline which makes image deeper. Also there are objects which attracts audience attention on the background such as big skyscraper and the palace. These elements makes picture more depth.

Framing
There is no a frame on the picture. On the background we can see London and absence of the frame make the feeling of boundless and gorgeous city and the customers are interested in the picture and in the brand.

Cropping
I don't thing that there is a cropping on the picture because the model is quite far from the photographer and we can see her full body with the advertising clothes on her.

Experimentation
This shot is so hard to make because the London Eye is moving and I think that they made lots of shots before this was made.

Lighting
There is a natural light on the picture which goes from the sunset. We can see model very clear. In my opinion it's High Key lighting because there is no shadows on the model.

Fitness for purpose
The picture is made to promote worldwide fashion brand Dior. The picture is really attractive because of its unusual style. We can't see the model as we used to see them. The model is quite far from the camera and that's why we pay more attention on her. Also the name of the brand attract as because it;s written for the half of the picture. The quality of the image is also the bast and we can feel the quality of the brand. This picture will be perfectly suit on some big billboards or in the magazines.
